Life is good.

Since Maggie was about three years old, she has begged me for a pool party for her birthday. I have always told her that she had to wait until she could swim before I attempted that one. Well, my first born will be seven next week while we are on vacation. When we return, John and I leave for Thailand. And, this year, she can swim!

We planned her POOL party, and I even gave in and told her that her buddies could stay the night. It has not rained, really rained, in weeks. You get where this is going, right? IT HAS POURED EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK. I went to the store this morning to purchase a back up plan. About 4 p.m., the rain started. It stormed and stormed. At 6:30, we had pizza at the house instead of at the pool.

At 7 p.m., I looked outside, and in true Georgia form, the sun was shining. We went swimming. Life is good. God is good.

It is now past midnight, and my bonus room is full of little girls in sleeping bags snoozing away. We leave for the beach in 36 hours. Life is good.

God is good, you got some sleep....more important, my beach "roomie" aka Cindy Vining got some sleep since she had wall to wall giggly girls right outside her bedroom door. Yea.
