Sewing for Summer...

Remember when I went to fabric store?

Well, I finished Ellie's gown in time, and since then, I've been working on some summer outfits for the kiddos. Here is a picture of Ellie's crab outfit. She is currently wearing 9-12 months clothes, so I made this outfit in 12-18 months. She should be able to wear it come summer. If not, her mommy can alter it! :>

Oh very cute! What pattern is that? I got a sewing machine for Christmas and have not done the first thing with it! Any suggestions for easy outfits for girls for a first time sewer (is that spelled correctly?)?

Hey Libs! This pattern is McCall's 2213, I think--but most of the pattern companies make a similar girls outfit. I chose the McCall's because the bloomers are EASY, and the other dresses look cute, too--although I haven't attempted them yet.

This was a very easy pattern--probably a good one to start with! I'll make a list of easy patterns I've done for you--maybe a blog post later this week?

Very cute outfit, Amy. You should really try to sell some of them on ebay or in a local shop. Or, even on your blog!

I would probably do better buying them from you rather than attempting it on my own, so I am with Jawan too! libby
